Pre-cut self-adhesive painting masks for a model of the Heinkel He 111 H-6 in 1:48 scale. The set contains no plastic parts and no decals and a model cannot be built from it - it is an accessory to a kit you have already bought, cut to the shape of its glazing.
The He 111 H-6 was a twin-engined bomber powered by Junkers Jumo 211F V engines. A characteristic element is the fully glazed front part of the fuselage with an asymmetrically set front panel, which replaced the earlier stepped cabin. The H-6 rendering was one of the most numerous variants of the type and was adapted for carrying torpedoes as well. The structure was all-metal, with an elliptical wing plan on the older series and a simplified tapered shape on the later ones.
Extensive glazing calls for a plan. Decide beforehand whether you will glue the glazed nose to the fuselage before spraying or after it - on that depends when you stick the masks on and in what order you will paint the interior. A proven procedure: finish and paint the inside of the cabin, glue the transparent parts on and clean up the seams, and only then stick the masks on and go and spray. Leave the masks in place throughout the application of the camouflage, the decals, the varnish and the weathering, and take them off only at the very end. Under gloss varnish the edge of a mask holds less well, so check the adhesion of the edges once again while varnishing.
The set is an accessory to a plastic kit, which it does not contain. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
