A resin replacement pitot tube for a model of the SEPECAT Jaguar A attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model, but a small detail part from Quickboost. The casting replaces the often coarse plastic part with a more slender and accurate tube on the nose.
The SEPECAT Jaguar was a British and French attack and strike aircraft powered by a pair of Adour engines. The A version was the single-seat tactical variant intended for the French Air Force. The pitot tube on the nose is a small but conspicuous detail that strongly affects the overall impression of a model.
Wash the part free of mold release agent, separate it carefully from the casting block with a sharp cutter and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Do any sanding with respiratory protection. Before painting, roughen the surface lightly and apply a primer suitable for resin so that the paint holds well and does not flake anywhere.
This is an accessory for refining a kit, not a stand-alone model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
