A resin detail accessory in 1:48 scale from Quickboost (Aires). It is not a model of the aircraft but a set of air scoops for building the two-seat Saab JAS-39D Gripen fighter. The parts replace the corresponding parts of the base kit and improve the fidelity of the surface detail.
The Saab JAS-39 Gripen is a Swedish multirole combat aircraft with a delta layout and canards. The JAS-39D version is the two-seater, used above all for training as well as for combat duties. The air scoops serve to feed cooling air to the systems of the aircraft.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release agent residues, separate the casting blocks carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand with respiratory protection. The accessory is meant as a replacement for the corresponding parts of the base model.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
