A set of 3D-printed resin exhaust nozzles in 1:48 scale by Reskit. It is intended for the Hasegawa kits of the Japanese Mitsubishi F-1 and the T-2 trainer and replaces the original plastic nozzles with a truer rendering that carries fine internal detail.
The Mitsubishi T-2 was a supersonic trainer of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, and the F-1 derived from it served as a light strike and anti-ship aircraft. The pair of exhaust nozzles at the tail is a conspicuous feature that a faithful rendering improves considerably.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut them from the print supports and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bring out the heat staining and the metallic sheen of the nozzles with pigments and metallic shades; wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is an add-on detail set, not an aircraft model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
