This set from Quinta Studio brings a 3D-printed and pre-colored K-36 ejection seat for models of the MiG-29 family of fighters in 1:48 scale. The seat is printed on decal paper including the colored harness and the details, so the lengthy painting and folding of etched belts falls away. It replaces the often simplified part of the base kit and raises the realism of the cockpit markedly. The seat is shaped for the GWH kit.
The elements are released in warm water like decals and assembled onto the body of the seat; for a firm seating of the thicker 3D decals a gloss varnish or a water-based glue is recommended. The result is a detailed seat with a faithful harness and controls, which at most needs a light patina.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not the model itself. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
