Eduard 1:48 Lewis 97-cartridge magazines (3D print) is a resin, directly 3D-printed accessory with drum magazines for the Lewis machine guns used on aircraft of the First World War period.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings precisely 3D-printed resin drum (pan) magazines for Lewis machine guns with a capacity of 97 cartridges in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a detailing accessory for aircraft armed with flexible Lewis machine guns, typical of the First World War era.
The characteristic circular magazine of the Lewis machine gun is a conspicuous feature of an observer's armament and of the upper gun of fighters. The finely printed parts capture even the small ribbing of the drum, which tends not to be readable in plastic. The magazines can be fitted onto a model of the gun or placed around the cockpit as spares.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, separate them from the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. We recommend a primer and then metallic shades with the ribbing lightly picked out.
This is an accessory for armament, not a stand-alone kit. The model of the gun, glue and paints are not included in the package.
