A set of self-adhesive F-117A Nighthawk Expert masks in 1:48 scale from New Ware - the most extensive kabuki masks for the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut self-adhesive painting masks (kabuki masks) in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer New Ware. It is not an aircraft kit but a masking set for painting the plastic model of the Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk attack aircraft. The Expert version is the most extensive variant: besides masks for the cockpit including the frames and the seals, it also contains masks for the inside of the glazing, for the other clear parts, for the wheels and masks for spraying the camouflage. Check the exact package contents against the manufacturer's information for this item.
The faceted shape of the Nighthawk has angular canopy glazing with sharp frames that are hard to mask by hand. Masks for the inside and the outside of the glazing let you spray them exactly, the camouflage masks help with reproducing the finish and the wheel masks make a clean paint job on the tires and the hubs easier.
The Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk was the first production attack aircraft designed for a low radar signature. Its faceted fuselage built up from flat surfaces and its typical black finish made it an icon of stealth technology in the US Air Force.
This is a masking set, not a kit. The model of the aircraft, paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
