A photo-etched metal accessory set for a model of the Lockheed Martin F-16C Block 42 aircraft in the form up to 2005, 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-16C is the single-seat version of the multirole combat aircraft F-16 Fighting Falcon. Block 42 is one of the production blocks of this version. The machines were gradually modified during their service, and that is why the set is listed for the form up to 2005 — later examples differ in details and the accessories cannot be interchanged between them.
A set of photo-etched metal parts in 1:48 scale. Photo-etched sheet is thin and dimensionally accurate, so the parts look more faithful than their plastic counterparts and can replace the places where plastic is necessarily thicker than it ought to be. The list of parts and the kit they are intended for are given in the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with the set. The content is not itemized here, so compare the parts with the plastic shapes on the model before building and decide what you will replace.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface, not by breaking them out. Make the bends along the scored lines in a bending tool or between two blades, and press along the whole length of the edge at once. They are glued with superglue applied in a minute amount, for instance with a pin. Degrease the parts before painting and use a primer, otherwise the paint rubs off on the smooth metal.
For modelers with experience of small parts. You need tweezers, a sharp blade and patience; the result is a fineness that cannot be achieved with a plastic part.
This is an accessory set. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
