A detail engine set for the twin-engine Messerschmitt Me 410A-1 aircraft in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory makes it possible to display an exposed engine section with a faithfully rendered V12 engine, engine mount, accessories and cowling panels.
The Me 410 Hornisse was a German twin-engine aircraft of the Second World War serving as a heavy fighter and a fast bomber. It was powered by two Daimler-Benz V12 engines mounted in nacelles on the wing.
Before building, wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue. It is advisable to paint the engine in stages before final assembly; the lines and the accessories come into their own with color separation and a gentle wash.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
