It is not an airplane model in its own right but a detail accessory that replaces the cockpit of the kit with faithfully cast parts. The set usually contains the cockpit tub, the instrument panel, the seats and the side consoles with rich detail that lifts the look of the finished model considerably.
The Me 410 Hornisse was a twin-engine multirole aircraft of the Luftwaffe, developed as a heavy fighter and fast bomber. The B-2/U4 version is associated with heavy forward-firing armament and specialized equipment. The glazed cockpit with its good view makes a detailed interior a rewarding feature that shows clearly on the finished model.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand with your airways protected. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Test-fit the cockpit tub before the fuselage is closed and adjust it if need be. Bring the instrument panel and the seat belts out with a fine wash and a dry brush.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
