Weighted wheels for the Me 163 Komet v.2 (1:48) are a resin set of loaded wheels for completing a model in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin (3D-printed) set of weighted wheels for a model of the Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet rocket fighter, version 2, in 1:48 scale from RESArm. It is not a complete model but replacement wheels with a realistic flattening under the weight of the machine.
Weighted wheels (so-called wheels under load) have a realistically deformed, flattened tire at the point of contact with the ground, which gives a standing model a natural impression of weight. On the Me 163 the landing gear rested on a jettisonable take-off dolly and the aircraft landed on a retractable skid. This set replaces the wheels with more faithful resin parts with a well-worked-out tread.
Wash off the print resin residue, cut the parts off the supports and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Orient the flattened area straight downward, so that the wheel sits faithfully on the ground.
A set of resin parts for modifying a model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
