A set of photo-etched metal parts in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not a helicopter kit but a refining accessory aimed at the outer surface - panels, grilles, reinforcements and small elements on the airframe. It is meant for models of the MH-60K helicopter.
The MH-60K is a special variant of the Black Hawk family of helicopters, modified for American special operations forces. It is marked by equipment for flying at low altitude and by night, a refueling probe for taking on fuel in flight and extended avionics. It serves to insert and support units in demanding conditions.
The parts are separated with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors and bent over an edge. Cyanoacrylate or varnish is used to join metal to plastic; remove any excess carefully with an accelerator, so that the surrounding areas do not go dull. We recommend degreasing the metal parts before painting.
The accessory comes as a separate photo-etched set. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
