The Quinta Studio 1:48 3D interior decal for the Mi-24A brings colored raised cockpit detail of the attack helicopter on a decal backing paper, applied the wet way.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of colored 3D decals from Quinta Studio that refines the interior of the early version of the Soviet attack helicopter. The detail is printed on a decal backing paper, it has real depth and color and it is applied the wet way, without photo-etched parts and without painting. The decal is based on the cockpit of the Mi-24A kit from Trumpeter.
The Mil Mi-24A was the first series version of the heavy Soviet attack and transport helicopter with a shared glazed cockpit for the pilots. It combined firepower with the ability to carry troops. The extensive glazed cockpit makes the interior a prominent feature of the model.
The part is cut from the sheet, soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the backing paper into place. It has no adhesive of its own and holds on a gloss varnish of the Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22 type; on broken-up surfaces a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, the chemicals attack the printed resin. The set shows to advantage thanks to the large glazed area of the cockpit.
This is an aftermarket accessory (a 3D decal), not a kit. The model itself and paints are not included in the package.
