The Quinta Studio set brings raised, straight away painted interior elements printed on decal paper. They are stuck directly onto the parts of a plastic kit and replace drawn-out painting of instruments and panels. It is not a kit of the helicopter but an accessory for a modeler. It is the smaller variant of the set, that is a narrower selection of elements than in the full version. Check the exact contents of the package on the packaging. The decals are shaped for the parts of the Zvezda kit.
The Mi-35M is a modernized export version of the attack helicopter of the Mi-24 series. Compared with the older machines it has a shortened wing, fixed landing gear and modernized avionics including equipment for flying at night. The design keeps the characteristic arrangement of two cockpits one above the other — the weapons systems operator sits at the front, with the pilot behind and above him — and at the rear of the fuselage there is space for carrying soldiers. There are therefore two cockpits, and in 1:48 scale you can see well into both through the glazing.
The application differs from classic wet decals, so go by the instructions enclosed in the package. First degrease the interior parts, spray them with a base color and let it cure fully. Transfer the elements with sharp tweezers and seat them at the first attempt. A decal softener and a setting solution do not belong here, as they would attack the printed resin. It pays to offer them up dry first and check how they fit. On a helicopter, do not forget that you fit and finish the interior before closing the fuselage up and glazing the cockpits.
The package holds decals only. The kit, paints and glue are not part of it.
