A resin detail set in 1:48 scale from Aires, not a kit of an aircraft. It replaces the plastic end exhaust nozzle of the Soviet MiG-15 fighter with an accurate casting with a faithful internal structure and a thin edge, which a plastic part usually cannot manage.
The MiG-15 was a single-engine jet fighter of the early era with a single exhaust nozzle at the rear of the fuselage. It is exactly the open end nozzle that is clearly visible from close up, so rendering it in detail on a model pays off.
Wash the part free of release agent, cut the casting block off and glue it with cyanoacrylate; sand resin with respiratory protection. Shade the nozzle with metallic paints with heat tints and a darkened interior for a sense of depth.
