MiG-17 (Fresco) - turned cannon barrels and pitot tube 1:48 replace the plastic parts from the kit. The set contains turned barrels of the 37 mm and 23 mm cannons and a metal pitot tube.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model of an airplane but a detailed metal accessory for your MiG-17 fighter kit in 1:48 scale. The set contains turned barrels of the onboard armament and a turned pitot tube. The metal parts have faithful muzzles and thin walls that cannot be cast in plastic, and the front tube is stronger than the easily broken plastic part.
The MiG-17 was a Soviet subsonic fighter of the first half of the 1950s, developed from the MiG-15. Its gun armament consisted of one 37 mm cannon and a pair of 23 mm cannons mounted under the nose. The Fresco A, B and C versions differed in equipment, with the later machines receiving radar and additional fittings.
Cut off the plastic barrels and the pitot tube and replace them with the metal parts, ideally into pre-drilled holes. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend fitting the pitot tube only after painting and after the main handling of the model, so that it does not get bent. Degrease the metal before painting.
The accessory requires a base kit; glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
