1:48 MiG-21 Around The World Cuba is a decal set in 1:48 scale aimed at Cuban MiG-21s. It serves as an accessory for your own model; it is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of decals in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Model Maker, from the Around the World series, which maps the foreign users of the MiG-21 fighter. This part is devoted to machines in Cuban colors. The set is an accessory for a model, not a kit or a finished model. What exactly the sheet carries is not stated here.
The MiG-21 is a single-engined supersonic fighter with a delta wing that became one of the most widespread jet aircraft of all and served in dozens of countries around the world. It was exactly this broad export that gave rise to the wide range of national markings and camouflage schemes that differ from machine to machine. What draws modelers to this series is above all the chance to build a well-known type in markings that are not seen at shows every day.
The basis is a smooth glossy surface. Spray the places the decal will settle onto with a gloss clear varnish and let it cure properly. Cut the individual motifs out closely to the edge of the printing, so no visible rim of carrier film is created needlessly. After a few seconds in warm water, let the decal rest on a towel and transfer it onto the model only once the film slides freely. Blot the surplus water away with the corner of a towel, then let the area dry. If a decal lies across panel lines or a change of shape, a softener helps; it is applied in a thin layer and the film is not moved once dry. Finally overcoat the whole model with a matte or satin varnish, so the markings blend with the surface.
The decals are an accessory for a kit. The kit, the paints, the varnishes and the softener are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
