This resin detail set in 1:72 scale from Aires offers a more accurate replacement for the wheels of a plastic kit plus a set of masking film. This variant is prepared for the form used by the US Air Force. It is not an airplane model in its own right but an accessory for an existing model.
The Douglas A-1 Skyraider was a single-seat piston-engine attack aircraft with a radial engine, able to carry a large load of armament and to stay over the battlefield for a long time. It was committed in Korea and in Vietnam, where it proved itself in close air support and in escorting rescue missions. It was operated by both the US Navy and the US Air Force.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Lay the masks on a clean surface and apply the paint in thin coats. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a resin accessory for more experienced modelers, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
