A detailed cockpit set for the MiG-23MF Flogger B in 1:48 scale from Aires. It is a cast resin set supplemented with photo-etched parts, intended for experienced modelers. It is not a standalone aircraft model but an upgrade with which you replace the simplified cockpit from a plastic kit.
The resin castings bring a faithfully worked cockpit tub with side consoles, an instrument panel, a detailed ejection seat and fine photo-etched elements such as seat belts and control levers. The resulting cockpit has a far higher level of detail than the parts from the box, and once assembled and painted it stays nicely visible under the glazing.
The set is built as a replacement cockpit for an injection-molded MiG-23MF kit in 1:48 scale. Check which particular kit the boxing is intended for against the manufacturer's part number: the parts are usually tailored to a given kit and may need some adjustment to fit.
