An Eduard LööK plus accessory set for the MiG-17F fighter model in 1:48 scale. The scope of the set and the kit it is tuned for are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The MiG-17F is a Soviet single-seat fighter of the 1950s, a swept-wing machine from the Mikoyan design bureau. It followed on from the earlier MiG-15, against which it gained a new wing and a longer fuselage, and it was built in large numbers. It served in the air forces of many countries long after it left the front line in the Soviet Union, so it offers a wide palette of finishes and markings. Its cockpit is fairly tight, and that makes every added detail all the more visible.
LööK plus is an Eduard accessory range that brings several individual add-ons for one aircraft type together in a single package. The point is to lift the level of detail of a 1:48 kit without having to track down the individual sets one at a time. What exactly the package holds, and which MiG-17F kit it is cut for, is given in the manufacturer's instructions, so read them before you start building.
Lay the set out and compare it with the part-built model before any gluing, because some of the add-ons go in before the fuselage is closed for good. Dry-fit every part first and sand the mating surface as needed. The right glue, the order of assembly and the position of the elements are all described in the manufacturer's instructions, so follow them and use glue sparingly. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Handle the small elements with tweezers over a light-colored surface, because a dropped part is easier to find that way.
This is an accessory for a kit. Paints, glue and other materials are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
