This photo-etched set by the Czech maker Eduard serves to detail the plastic model of the Soviet Mil Mi-24V attack helicopter in 1:48 scale. Note: this is not a helicopter kit but a set of fine metal parts that replace or complement items of the base model and take its realism to a higher level.
The Mi-24V (Hind E in the NATO code) is one of the most widespread versions of the legendary Soviet attack and transport helicopter. It combines an armored cockpit, heavy armament and the ability to carry troops. The V version is notable for its modernized avionics and its anti-tank guided missiles.
The photo-etched parts are cut from the fret, bent in a bending tool or with the help of a ruler, and bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The color-printed items, for example the instrument panels and the belts, are pre-painted and need no further painting. Always follow the enclosed instructions and fit the parts in order from the interior outwards.
An accessory set; it is not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
