Colored photo-etched parts Eduard 1:48 Mosquito FB Mk. VI / NF Mk. II for sharpening up the cockpit and interior of this British twin-engine aircraft. A modeling accessory, not a model in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of fine photo-etched parts from Eduard in 1:48 scale for raising the detail of a plastic de Havilland Mosquito kit in the FB Mk. VI fighter-bomber and NF Mk. II night fighter versions. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory that sharpens up above all the cockpit and the interior. The color pre-printed parts are ready to use, while the additional brass photo-etched parts are painted by the builder.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine aircraft of largely wooden construction, nicknamed the Wooden Wonder. It stood out for its high speed and its versatility. The FB Mk. VI version was a fighter-bomber with fixed armament, while the NF Mk. II served as a night fighter equipped with radar.
The photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife and glued with super glue. The colored instrument panels and belts only need to be shaped and stuck on, while it is recommended to degrease and prime the bare brass parts before gluing. Tweezers and a photo-etch bending tool help.
This is a modeling accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
