A resin detail set, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the main wheel fenders of the British twin-engine de Havilland Mosquito multirole aircraft in 1:48 scale. The resin parts are thinner and more exact than the plastic from the box and have no ejector pin marks, so they need less cleaning up. The set is meant for advanced modelers with resin experience.
On the Mosquito the fenders above the main wheels are a prominent feature of the landing gear, and a clean rendering of the right thinness markedly raises the quality of the whole gear area. With a resin casting the laborious sanding away of ejector pin marks falls away and the section stays better. Once painted and lightly weathered, they fit into the overall look of the landing gear.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
