About product

Bell-Boeing MV-22 Osprey – New Ware EXPERT kabuki masks (1:48)

An extended set of painting masks in kabuki tape from New Ware for models of the Bell-Boeing MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor in 1:48 scale. The EXPERT level means wider coverage than the basic set — besides the cockpit glazing it also deals with further elements that, on so busy a machine, are worth masking with precisely shaped pieces.

Use

  • Clean and degrease the areas to be masked and transfer the masks exactly into place.
  • Press the edges down carefully, so that paint does not creep under the mask.
  • Apply the paint in thin coats.
  • Take the masks off once the paint has dried, while they are still flexible, for sharp edges.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want quick, accurate masking of the complex Osprey at a wider extent than the basic set offers.

This is an accessory — painting masks, not a model. Paints and a kit are not included in the package.
