Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting (kabuki) masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a plastic model in 1:48 scale. The masks are pre-cut and self-adhesive, they follow the canopy glazing frames exactly and, depending on the extent of the set, other surfaces including the wheels. They allow quick, clean masking before the paint is sprayed. This is an accessory; the aircraft model itself is not included and is bought separately.
The Kawanishi N1K Kyofu (Allied designation Rex) was a Japanese floatplane fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service. It was designed to support advancing operations where land airfields were lacking. The successful N1K-J Shiden fighter later grew out of a land-based rework of this machine.
Transfer the masks onto degreased glazing, press the edges down and cover the remaining areas with masking tape. Apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush and take the masks off before it has fully dried, so that the lines stay sharp.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The model itself, the glue, the paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
