This is a resin detail set, not an aircraft model. It brings underwing drop fuel tanks of 108 gallons, typical of the long-range escort missions of the American North American P-51D Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale. Resin castings have a sharper shape and a finer surface than injection-molded plastic.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, then cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife. Bond with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin and do not inhale the dust.
