Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British twin-engine trainer Airspeed Oxford Mk.I/II in 1:48 scale from Special Hobby. It is a multimedia set - besides the plastic parts with a finely engraved surface it usually holds resin and photo-etched details and masking templates. The interior is richly broken up, including the cockpit and the navigator's station.
The Airspeed Oxford was a British twin-engine low-wing aircraft which during the Second World War served to train Commonwealth crews in navigation, radio work, bombing and gunnery. It was nicknamed the Ox-box and over eight thousand were built. The Mk.I and Mk.II versions differed in their equipment.
Join the plastic with liquid cement and glue the resin and photo-etched parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). First wash the resin parts free of mold release agent. Fit the cockpit glazing with the supplied masks and paint with an airbrush over a primer. It is a more demanding build suited to more advanced modelers.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
