A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the barrels of the wing machine guns of the American Curtiss P-40 Warhawk fighter in 1:48 scale. The faithfully cast muzzles are drilled out and thin-walled, so the laborious drilling of plastic parts falls away. The part is meant for advanced modelers with resin experience.
The machine gun barrels on the wing leading edge are a small but conspicuous detail that is hard to drill out on plastic parts and easily damaged. The resin casting offers a sharp, open muzzle and an exact shape, so the armament looks realistic. Once fitted and painted in metallic shades they markedly lift the impression a finished model makes.
