A 3D-printed P-40M/P-40N Warhawk pilot's seat, type 2 in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. A cockpit detail accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains a 3D-printed type 2 pilot's seat for the American Curtiss P-40M and P-40N Warhawk fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a cockpit detail accessory; modern printing technology allows a fine bucket and detail that injection-molded plastic cannot manage. The manufacturer is the Czech company Eduard.
The P-40 Warhawk was among the most widespread American fighters of the early Second World War and in the later M and N versions it served on many fronts. The pilot's seat is clearly visible in an open cockpit, so rendering it faithfully markedly raises the overall level of a model. The printed seat faithfully captures the shape of the bucket and the small structural features that plastic parts tend to simplify.
Separate the part carefully from the print supports and clean it up; glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Paint the bucket according to the interior standards and add the harness to suit the version.
This is an add-on detail set, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
