This directly 3D-printed resin set from Eduard Brassin replaces the closed wings of the base kit with a detailed installation of the machine gun bays of the P-51B/C Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale. It allows the armament in the wing to be displayed open, with faithfully rendered machine guns, ammunition boxes and internal structure.
It is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model. Open gun bays give a finished machine the look of maintenance work or a museum display.
Cut the parts from the print supports, clean them up and then wash them. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the interior in the matching metal or green interior shade and pick the machine guns out in dark metal with a fine wash so that the detail reads.
The set is an accessory to a plastic model. The glue, the paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
