The resin set of wheels from the Brassin line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard is intended for models of the PV-1 Ventura aircraft in 1:48 scale. The wheels are cast precisely with a diamond tread pattern and the effect of a loaded tire; one hub tends to be cast with the tire and the other separately for easy painting. It is not a model - it is an accessory replacing the plastic wheels.
The Lockheed PV-1 Ventura was an American twin-engine patrol and light bomber aircraft of the period of the Second World War, derived from a transport machine. The sturdy main wheels are well visible on a model and a resin replacement gives them a crisper drawing of the tread.
Wash the parts clean of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tire and the hub separately for a clean transition. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of an airplane in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
