Eduard Brassin 1:48 R-73 / AA-11 Archer is a resin set of Soviet infrared air-to-air missiles for plastic models of fighters. It is not a model but an accessory with ordnance.

The set from the Brassin line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard is not a model of the aircraft but a detail resin accessory with ordnance. It holds R-73 missiles with faithfully drawn control surfaces and a launch adapter, with which you will hang them on the pylons of fighters. It tends to be filled out with decal markings. The set does not hold the kit of the aircraft.
The R-73 (AA-11 Archer in the NATO code) is a Soviet infrared homing (heat-seeking) air-to-air guided missile of short range. It was introduced from the 1970s and machines such as the MiG-29, the Su-27, the Su-34 and a number of other modernized types carry it.
Wash the resin parts clean of the mold release agent, cut them off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The missiles stand out once a uniform base has been laid on, the markings placed precisely and the panels gently brought out.
This is a supplementary resin set, not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and the kit of the aircraft are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
