This is NOT an aircraft model but an accessory photo-etched set of seat belts. It holds color, pre-printed, self-adhesive ejection seat belts in the gray pattern for the single-seat model of the French Dassault Rafale C fighter in 1:48 scale. The STEEL version means that the belts are etched from steel.
Steel holds a fold better than brass, so the belts follow the shape of the seat faithfully. The gray printing matches the real webbing of a modern French fighter, and with the metal buckles it looks realistic even from close up.
The parts are separated with tweezers, shaped into a fold and glued to the seat; they are self-adhesive, and a drop of cyanoacrylate glue can be added for safety. The belts are tiny, but they bring an otherwise empty seat to life.
This is an accessory photo-etched set. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
