Eduard 1:48 P-47D-25RE Thunderbolt seatbelts STEEL

This is a set of pre-painted photo-etched seat belts in 1:48 scale, made of a springier steel sheet. It is not a model of an airplane but a cockpit detail add-on for the kit of the Republic P-47D-25RE Thunderbolt fighter. The belts are color printed at the factory, so painting them is off the list, and the steel material lets you shape them into a realistic belt sag over the seat.

Use

  • Break the parts out of the etched fret and bend them gently into the shape you want.
  • Line up the buckles and clasps and fix the joints with cyanoacrylate glue.
  • Seat the belts on the seat and fine-tune the folds for a natural look.

  • Modelers who want to raise the realism of the cockpit quickly and without painting.
  • Builders who are not happy with the flat plastic belts from the box.

This is an add-on, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
