Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set by Quickboost (a range from the maker Aires) for modelers. It is NOT a standalone model but an accessory that replaces the engine cowling together with the cooling flaps of the American Republic P-47D Thunderbolt fighter in 1:48 scale. The one-piece, precisely shaped casting replaces the corresponding plastic parts and gives the front of the fuselage a cleaner shape and finer detail without gluing and cleaning up several pieces.
The P-47D Thunderbolt was a massive American fighter and fighter-bomber of the Second World War, powered by a powerful radial engine. The rugged engine cowling with its cooling flaps is one of its characteristic shapes.
Separate the part from the casting block, wash off the mold release agent and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. Apply a primer before painting; when seating it, watch how the shape carries on into the fuselage and, if present, the engine. Check the compatibility with your particular plastic P-47D kit in 1:48.
This is a resin detail set, not a model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
