This is a resin detail set that replaces the airbrakes on the plastic kit of the SEPECAT Jaguar attack aircraft. The parts are cast with accurate inner structure and definition, which lets you show the brakes in the extended position. The set refines an area that injection-molded plastic usually simplifies.
The SEPECAT Jaguar is a British and French single-seat attack aircraft of the Cold War. It was used in the tactical strike and reconnaissance role. The airbrakes served to control speed on the approach and in maneuvering.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with your airways protected. Before gluing, check the position of the brakes and their wells dry; paint the inner surfaces and bring them out with a wash.
