DK Decals Spitfire Mk.V Aces 1:48 is a set of waterslide decals with the markings of the machines of successful fighter aces; decals are not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of waterslide decals from the Czech maker DK Decals brings markings for building models of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V in 1:48 scale. The sheet is devoted to machines flown by well-known fighter aces and offers twelve color schemes. It is an accessory for finishing a model, not a kit.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V was a British fighter of the Second World War with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and the most widespread early version of the Spitfire. A number of Allied pilots reached high scores of victories at its controls. The machines of the aces often carried personal markings, score markings or striking national symbols, which makes them rewarding modeling subjects.
Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss finish. Dip the item briefly, slide it into place and soak the surplus water away. A softener will support its settling into the detail of the surface, and a final coat will unify the decals with the surrounding area.
This is a decal set. A model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
