Peewit 1:48 canopy and landing gear bay masks for the Spitfire TR.9

This set is NOT a kit but painting masks by the Czech maker Peewit. It contains self-adhesive masks shaped exactly for the framing of the glazed canopy and for covering the landing gear bays of a model of the two-seat Spitfire TR.9 trainer in 1:48 scale. The masks are designed for the particular kit of this type.

The real subject

The Spitfire TR.9 was the two-seat trainer conversion of the famous British Supermarine Spitfire fighter in the Mk.IX version. It was created by adding a second, raised cockpit for an instructor, so it was used for conversion training and for pleasure flights.

Use

• Stick the masks onto the clear canopy and cover the areas of the frames of both cockpits
• The landing gear bay masks keep overspray off the inner surfaces
• Spray the frames in the interior color and then in the outer shade
• Once dry, take the masks off carefully

Paints are not included in the package. Apply the masks to a degreased, clean surface.
