The set from MASTER contains 20 turned brass barrels for the Italian light anti-aircraft gun of 20 mm caliber, the Breda (barrel length 65 calibers), in 1:350 scale. The metal barrels replace more fragile plastic parts and refine the small close-range anti-aircraft armament. It is a detail accessory, not a ship model.
The Breda light anti-aircraft gun of 20 mm caliber with a barrel length of 65 calibers was the most widespread close-range air defense weapon of the Regia Marina in the Second World War. It was fitted in single and twin mountings on destroyers, cruisers and battleships alike.
Separate the very thin barrels carefully from the casting block, clean them up and glue them on with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the brass before painting and apply a primer, then put the paint on with an airbrush because of how fine the parts are.
This is a metal detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
