About product

New Ware 1:48 Sukhoi Su-27UB — EXPERT masking set

A set of self-adhesive masking templates of kabuki paper (Japanese washi) for the two-seat trainer version Su-27UB. It is not a model but an accessory for painting — it masks the cockpit glazing and other areas exactly when spraying with an airbrush. The templates are shaped for models of the Su-27UB in 1:48 scale.

Use

  • The EXPERT level adds masks for the seals of the frames and the inner sides of the cockpit to the glazing and the wheels.
  • The two-seat cockpit has extensive glazing — the templates save a great deal of tape cutting.
  • Kabuki paper copies the shape, holds and once removed leaves no adhesive.
  • After spraying and drying you take the masks off and the transitions stay sharp.

Who the set is for

For builders of the two-seat Su-27UB who want a clean and exact spray of the frames of the large cockpit without laborious masking by hand.

The kit itself, paints and glue are not included — these are only masking templates.

FAQ

For the two-seat trainer version Su-27UB with its large cockpit. The templates are cut exactly to its glazing.

To the masks for the glazing and the wheels it adds the seals of the frames and the inner sides of the cockpit for a more faithful rendering of the details.

It is not. These are only masking templates; the kit and paints have to be bought separately.
