A limited edition kit of the two-seat aircraft Su-27UB (NATO reporting name Flanker-C) in 1:48 scale from the maker Wolfpack. The injection-molded plastic is rounded out with resin parts of the cockpit, the landing gear bays and the wheels, with photo-etched metal, a metal sensor and new decals for the color scheme of the aerobatic team Russian Knights. The Su-27UB is the two-seat combat trainer version of the heavy fighter of the Su-27 series. It keeps the performance and the armament of the single-seat version and adds a second seat for training. In the colors of the aerobatic team Russian Knights these machines fly as a representative formation, known for their formation aerobatics and flypasts.
Glue the plastic with liquid cement for plastic, the resin and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. The color scheme is striking and varied, so careful masking of the individual fields, a quality primer and spraying with an airbrush in coats pay off. Finish and paint the cockpit and the bays before closing up the fuselage; apply a gloss varnish under the decals and unify the surface with a semi-matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
