Quinta Studio 1:48 Su-27UB - interior 3D decals

A set of colored interior 3D decals from Quinta Studio in 1:48 scale, meant for models of the two-seat Sukhoi Su-27UB combat trainer version. It is not a kit and not a flat printed decal but full-color 3D printing on a backing decal paper: three-dimensional parts that slide off the paper after a brief dip and take the place of demanding painting of both cockpits.

What the set offers

The parts have real depth and a raised structure, so the instrument panels, the side consoles and the seats of both cockpits look faithful without laborious layering of paint. The colors and the instrument labels are printed directly, and the result is a readable, three-dimensional interior with a minimum of work.

Use

• Cut the part out and dip it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds
• Slide it off the paper onto the clean, degreased surface of the cockpit parts, coated with gloss varnish
• Press it into the shape with a soft point; on a surface with relief a drop of cyanoacrylate helps. Do not use a decal softener or setting solution, as it attacks the printed resin
• Suited to Su-27UB models in 1:48 scale

For modelers who want to detail the cockpits quickly and faithfully without lengthy painting. Even a less experienced modeler can manage it, and advanced builders will appreciate the result too.

This is an accessory to a model, not a kit in its own right. The base model is not included in the package.
