A set of turned metal barrels in 1:48 scale by the Polish manufacturer MASTER for the British fighter Supermarine Spitfire with the E type wing in its late version. It contains the barrels of the Hispano 20 mm cannons and the .50 caliber Browning machine guns in fairings in two variants, as a more accurate replacement for the plastic parts.
The E type wing combined Hispano cannons and .50 caliber Browning machine guns, and its execution changed slightly over time. This set deals with the late version and replaces the plastic barrels with accurate metal parts of more faithful shape and muzzle; it offers two variants.
Choose the variant that matches your model, cut the parts off the casting remains and clean them up. Fit the metal barrels in place of the plastic parts and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Apply a suitable primer to the metal before painting.
This is not an aircraft model but a supplementary set of replacement barrels. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
