The SUU-20 dispenser with BDU-33 and Mk.76 bombs in 1:48 scale is a resin Eduard set from the Brassin line. It is a practice dispenser with practice bombs, that is accessory armament for a model, not a kit.

Unlike the photo-etched lines of Eduard, which aim at interiors, this is cast resin from the Brassin line intended to go under a wing. And unlike sets with live ordnance, the subject here is practice equipment: the SUU-20 dispenser together with the small BDU-33 and Mk.76 practice bombs. The castings have a one-piece body with no mold seam and fine surface detail, much of which is lost on split plastic parts when the seam is sanded down.
Practice bombs weigh and measure a fraction of live ordnance, but they imitate the flight behavior well enough for release training. They carry a smoke charge so that the impact is visible on a range. The SUU-20 dispenser serves as a carrier from which the individual practice bombs are released one by one, so a single flight covers several releases. For a modeler it is an interesting option in external stores: a machine in a practice configuration looks different from the same aircraft with live ordnance and it opens up the theme of training units.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and sand the surface wet; resin dust is not to be inhaled. They are bonded exclusively with super glue, as cement for plastic has no effect. Apply a primer before painting. Practice ordnance tends to be conspicuously colored so that it is clearly visible on a range, so spray a light base, then the striking shade, and separate the edges with masking tape. Try the dispenser on the pylon dry so that once glued it hangs straight and in line with the aircraft.
This is an accessory set, not a standalone kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
