A photo-etched detail set from Eduard in 1:48 scale aimed at the interior of a plastic model of the American T-38A Talon supersonic trainer. The etched parts printed in color sharpen the cockpit and the instrument equipment. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory to a base kit.
The Northrop T-38A Talon is an American twin-engine supersonic jet trainer with a pair of tandem cockpits. It has served in pilot training since the 1960s and became one of the most widely used trainers of its kind; NASA flew it as well. Its slender fuselage and small wings give it performance close to that of a fighter.
The set suits the instrument panels, the side consoles and other elements of both cockpits. Separate the etched parts with a sharp knife on a cutting mat, bend them in a bending tool and bond them with super glue; apply the color parts to a degreased surface. Finish the interior before closing up the fuselage.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a model in its own right. It calls for a matching base kit, which is not included in the package.
