A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand intended for the plastic kit of the twin-engine Focke-Wulf Ta 154 in 1:48 scale. This is not a model but a set of replacement exhausts that take the place of the kit plastic parts with more faithful castings with open outlets.
The Ta 154 was a German night fighter of the Second World War powered by a pair of inverted V12 engines. The exhaust pipes are among the prominent details on the engine nacelles, and precise castings with hollowed-out outlets noticeably raise the realism.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The exhausts come alive in burnt steel shades with pigments for a scorched and rusted effect. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
