The panel of the LooK line replaces the flat plastic part from the box with a finished three-dimensional part with rendered dial faces and raised bezels. It is prepared for Lysander models in the Mk.I and Mk.III renderings in 1:48 scale. The aircraft kit itself is sold separately.
The Westland Lysander was a British army cooperation high-wing aircraft with a Bristol Mercury radial engine, fixed landing gear in aerodynamic fairings and remarkable takeoff qualities. Its original role of artillery spotter and liaison machine proved suicidal in daylight, but the ability to take off and land on a short meadow made it the ideal machine for secret flights over occupied France. Special Royal Air Force squadrons used it on moonlit nights to drop and pick up agents. The Mk.I was powered by a Mercury XII, the later Mk.III received a Mercury XX.
Modelers who want to bring out the cockpit quickly and without assembling tiny metal parts. Tools, paints and varnishes are obtained separately.
