About product

Eduard 1:72 Fw 190D instrument panel

A pre-colored instrument panel from Eduard in 1:72 scale for the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190D fighter, nicknamed the Dora. It is not a kit: the panel is a fine color photo-etched self-adhesive part with printed dials and stenciling and serves as a direct replacement for the plastic instrument panel in the cockpit of the IBG kit. Even in the small 1:72 scale this gives crisp, legible cockpit detail without painting the instruments by hand.

Use

  • The original plastic panel is removed from the model or sanded flat.
  • The color panel is peeled off and applied in its place; sometimes it is made up of several layers for a three-dimensional effect.
  • A drop of clear varnish can be placed in the dials for the impression of glass.
  • It is fitted before the fuselage is closed.

Who the instrument panel is for

  • For builders of the Fw 190D model in this scale who want a more accurate cockpit.
  • For modelers who appreciate ready-made detail without painting the dials.

This is a cockpit accessory, not an airplane model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
