A universal sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale with a complete alphabet and numerals in white, in four sizes. The set is used to make up code and serial markings for British aircraft according to the modeler's own choice. It is not a model but a supplementary marking sheet.
White code letters and numerals were typical of the fuselage and vertical tail markings of RAF aircraft. Thanks to the several sizes you can put together unit codes, serial numbers and individual codes for various types and periods. They come into their own where factory decals do not cover a particular machine or where a non-standard combination is needed.
Transfer the letters one at a time onto a smooth gloss clear coat; tweezers and a decal softener will help. Watch the even spacing and the alignment of the row. Once dry, seal the area with a clear coat so that the edges do not silver.
This is a separate decal set. The model and paints are not included in the package.
