Injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary Czech trainer and aerobatic aircraft Zlin Z-226MS in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. Depending on the particular edition, the box contains decals for several machines and, in the higher editions (ProfiPACK), colored photo-etched parts and painting masks for the glazing as well.
The Z-226MS is a two-seat single-engined low-wing monoplane from the Zlin aircraft works. The Z-226 family, derived from the Trener type, made its name in the 1950s as a reliable trainer and aerobatic machine with excellent flying qualities. It flew with flying clubs and in military training and enjoyed success in aerobatic competitions.
We recommend liquid cement for plastic and starting the build with the carefully detailed cockpit, which you finish and paint before closing up the fuselage. Protect the cockpit glazing with masks. For smooth transitions use a base coat (primer) and apply the shades with an airbrush in thin coats.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
